| This is by far my favorite of all my own pieces, I wrote it one afternoon, and literally poured my heart into every word. It's atleast 1,000 words long, if not longer. It' rather morbid and depressing, and it's made some people cry before, so don't read this poem if you are prone to depression! |

I sped through the forest, dodging branches, leaping over any obstacle I encountered. I could still feel fiery pain in the place where Damien had bitten into my neck, and a steady flow of blood trickled down, touching my collar bone. Now that I was outside of that damned meadow, rain hurled itself down from the clouds, pelting the ground and me. Wind rushed past with a cold fury, whipping the rain into my face.
